The 2021 Texas power crisis involving three severe winter storms sweeping across the United States, resulted in a massive electricity generation failure in the state of Texas, along with shortages of water, food, and heat.

Still in the middle of a world pandemic, the winter storms in 2021 added additional pressures, especially to those that were already struggling, causing many more to survive without the basic necessities to support their families.  We were led to support the TD Jakes Foundation in Dallas TX, to ensure local residents had access to the support they needed, while also ensuring we were available as a resource.

The T.D. Jakes Foundation is a workforce development and community building foundation that is committed to building bridges to opportunity in the United States and around the world. – tdjakesfoundation.org

Our contribution to the foundation gave us the opportunity to support an organization that has a long history of investing in the lives of many people across the globe, while providing immediate access to resources that local communities needed.
